Cheryl Tuck Tallon operated the gallery at locations in Northside and Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan for nearly a decade. She recently decided that she wanted to paint full-time and closed the gallery. Interested in mentoring new gallerist, Brent Hamel, Cheryl generously provided access to the name, Black Spruce Gallery, and continues to mentor the new owner. The Black Spruce Gallery history and accomplishments will be honoured as the gallery evolves into the future in its new location in Waskesiu Lake, Prince Albert National Park and furthers a robust online retail presence.

In support of its mission, the Black Spruce Gallery provides visitors with an opportunity to immerse themselves in original, hand made, fine art and fine craft inspired by the boreal forest and available at a range of prices, and engage with artists at events and workshops. The Gallery represents over 50 established and emerging Saskatchewan and Canadian artists and craftspeople, many of whom were affiliated with the Gallery under Cheryl Tuck Tallon.
