Amanda Christina is a primarily self-taught oil painter living and working in rural southwestern Ontario. Having switched to creating art full-time several years ago, Amanda’s work now resides in private collections across North America & Europe.
Whimsical and dreamy, her paintings represent a central theme of light coming from the darkness. Each piece contains a focal point of light, and then the radiating “sparkles” represent hope and a lightness of spirit. She is inspired mainly by the uniquely Canadian landscape of Northern Ontario, and strives to create semi-representational pieces that embody the joy of sitting lakeside.
