Originally from Australia, Miranda immigrated to Canada where she pursued her art career. She earned a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Saskatchewan.
Miranda enjoys working in a wide variety of media from paper to steel, but a foundation in drawing and a love of color are central to her work. As a trained art instructor, she loves to share knowledge, skills, and believes creativity at all levels helps to empower us as individuals.
Miranda’s work represented in public and private collections in Canada and Internationally. She has been awarded several grants and artist residencies both in Canada and abroad.
Most participated in an artist residency at the Saskatchewan Legislature Building in Regina for Centenary celebrations.
Miranda is also a certified Iyengar International yoga instructor and interested in Nordic skiing, year-round cycling, and sub-arctic swimming.
