Take your art and compositions to a new level. Learn about the universal language of art and composition. Explore the secrets of the old masters. This workshop will take you on an amazing journey into the psychology of art and design and how we “see”. When applied to photos, paintings, in fact, any design, the result is a more pleasing composition.
Starting with the 4 most important lines, to the horizontal line, rule of thirds, dynamic symmetry, and finally, the golden ratio. You will have tools and skills to add these concepts to your work.
The Saturday, March 15th Art Workshop, Golden Ratio, will include theory for the first hour, and then exercises. Additional theory and exercises will follow, and then time to practice.
Some painting/photography experience is recommended. Participants are encouraged to bring drawing supplies. There will be no painting.

Cheryl Tuck-Tallon is a graduate of the USCAD program, and former fine art gallery owner. Cheryl works in acrylics, oils and watercolour, and subject matter includes landscape, abstracted landscape, florals, and abstract inspired from nature. Cheryl paints full-time at her studios in Saskatoon and Emma Lake, Saskatchewan.
