Bonnie Gilmour

Artist Bonnie Gilmour creates expressive clay sculptures ranging in scale from the architecturally inspired public art, to primitive, historically informed pieces for commissions and personal collectors.

Her forms and aesthetic showcase the raw, natural state of the clay, enhanced with richly textured surfaces that are both colorful, and earthy.

She is also a successful production potter by profession, and creates items of utility for the home.

Bonnie's commissions and installations are collected and showcased across the globe.

Immersed in her work, Bonnie resides in Meacham, Saskatchewan.

As an educator, she hosts group workshops and educational opportunities that are the destination of corporate executives to school children.

Bonnie's passion is clay, and for 30 years her artistry is engaged at its most elevated occasion when she shares the techniques and unlimited potential of its "essence" -  mud.
