The Woodlot

Darren and Jess are two people that really dig the forest. John Muir said it best “going to the woods is going home”. They make wooden goods out of the things they find in their bush lot, a little bit of tree that you can take home with you. They like to keep our products clean lined, simple and true to nature - letting beauty shine through ~

There is so much joy to be had in the business of creating things. They try to keep things as environmentally groovy as they can, using wood that comes down naturally in the forest, and smaller branches cut to keep their trails clear. They also use reclaimed wood when they come across it. For the few things, board wood is purchase Ontario Wood from a local sawmill. They finish the wood with beeswax polish and Pure Tung Nut Oil, to keep things as natural as possible.
