Vicki of Penny Lane Pottery is a Saskatchewan pottery artist who has always loved the idea that something as simple as a favourite mug can bring a little joy to an ordinary day. That’s what inspires her to make pottery: creating beautiful, colourful pieces that are meant to be used, enjoyed, and become part of everyday life.

She’s drawn to vibrant glazes, the natural character of speckled clay, and the little details that make each piece special - like a unique stamp at the base of each handle. Living in Saskatchewan’s boreal forest, she finds plenty of inspiration in the natural world around her, which often finds its way into her work in subtle and unexpected ways.
