I am an artist, illustrator, teacher, and graphic designer. Originally from the city of Homs Syria, I came to Saskatoon as a refugee with my wife and 5 children in December of 2016. When I was running from the war in Syria I was always thinking of art and painting. I painted a variety of subjects that reflect my life in Syria and Lebanon.
When I paint I feel the pleasure, I feel the happiness that comes from the people who enjoy my art.

I’m inspired by the beauty of nature, since arriving in Saskatoon I have travelled throughout the province.  I love the open skies of Saskatchewan.
