Anette Cameron
A Danish heritage training in Archaeology and 25+ years of work within Alberta museums is the framework that inspires her quirky sense of aesthetics and desire to work with fibre art. She has cared for garments worn by Canada’s early pioneers, Queen Victoria, Terry Fox, Johnny Cash and Buffy Saint Marie amongst others. Indeed a remarkable, inspirational and diverse collection of historic textiles. The vast mix of past and present has inspired her to create a canvas for new uncultivated ideas in the realm of fibre arts and mixed media.
