Leif Ellefson

Raised in Regina, Leif Ellefson developed an interest in art early in life, drawing as a child and sculpting by Grade 4. While pursuing baking and specialized cake decorating, he continued painting in oils, discovering connections between artistic disciplines and food craftsmanship. About six years ago, he began exploring wood carving and found a new creative passion.

Leif specializes in carving faces, continually expanding his skills through relief carving and pyrography. His work reflects a diverse creative background, combining an eye for detail with an appreciation for the textures and possibilities of wood.
