Rod Peterson

Rod was born in British Columbia and raised in Saskatchewan. He has lived in Nipawin since 1971. A varied life experience coalesced into 29 years of teaching Physics and several years of running a fruit and vegetable market garden that gave him a tremendous sense of satisfaction and enjoyment. He is a self taught woodturner who has developed many skills from videos and workshops with master woodturners. His source of material is mainly from the floor to the canopy of the Boreal Forest in northeast Saskatchewan.

His hope is that some of his works will give others as much enjoyment as he had in creating them.
